Scholarship Program
University of Gavle or Hogskolan i Gavle in Swedish, is a university college located in Gavle, Sweden. It uses the name "University of Gavle" in English although it is officially a University College. The university's postgraduate education at the Ph.D level is through the KTH research school, a collaboration between the university and the Royal Institute of Technology Stockholm.
The University of Gavle offers scholarships to high performing international students who are required to pay tuition fees. The application offers a reduction of 75% of the tuition fee. The application for scholarship for programmes starting in the Spring semester 2022 will be closed on 17 September 2021.
Scholarship Eligibility
To be considered as the scholarship applicants, You must:
- be required to pay tuition fees for Higher Education in Sweden
- rank the study programme at the University of Gavle as first priority at universityadmissions.se
- apply to the programme before the universityadmissions.se
- pay the application fee and send supporting documents to universityadmissions.se
There is no needed to sen extra documents. The documents that are submitted to the universityadmissions.se will be use as the submission process.
Selection and Application Process
Please note, you need to apply for a study programme at University of Gavle via universityadmission.se before you submit your application for scholarship. Thus, you require to register to the system via this Gavle Scholarship Link.
Please be notified that the application period will be closed on 17 September 2021, where as the applicants for Master's programmes are on 10 November 2021. The selection criteria are based on:
- Admissions to the study programme
- Grades from previous studies (Upper secondary education for Bachelor's applications and Higher Education studies for Master's applications)
- Motivation Letter
