I decided to make this blog because many people do not believe about who am I and from where I graduated. Actually, I graduated from physics, in material physics particularly and I am interested in manufacturing and processing the material involving the mechanical and electrical properties. However, even though currently I work as research assistant at my university but my income comes from the salary of training English.
So, basically people do not believe what I am doing because becoming an English trainer is what I do for living currently. And they always say that why? Or in other words, how can you do that? Well it is a simple thing, just studying and taking English examination such as IELTS, TOEFL or anything similar to it. But, remember even though that makes you qualify as an English trainer but it does not make you as a teacher. So yeah, I am just a trainer or instructor about how to speak, read and write in English correctly and properly.
Apparently, people are more likely particularly in Indonesia to see the others occupations done by other people throughout their background experiences or study. For example, if you have a bachelor degree in mathematics, physics and chemistry then mostly people consider you as a teacher. The question is why do people have stereotype like that? I mean what happened to people of Indonesia so that they came out with an idea about people who has bachelor degree with those are related to teacher? It seems unbelievably happened.
Therefore, based on that understanding I created this blog in order to change the people’s perception about physics. Their point of views will be changed because physics is not merely a subject with full of equations and calculations. Truth to be told, I was not a good person who had good mark in mathematical physics, calculus or even more the statistic. But, it does not make me stop to dream for becoming a scientist or physicist. Physics is about our understanding about physical interactions between one matter to others matters so that we can formulate the better method to know it.
Overall, it clearly can be said that physicist is one of the most intriguing profession that many people do not realize. It is an attractive field of work and once we understood how it happens or works, it looks like we will able to unravel a mystery. And as a remind, the more we understood about something, the more love we put in it, and imagine how romantic a physicist can be.
