The London School of Economics and Political Science, famously known as LSE, is a public research university located in London, England, and it is a member institution of the federal University of London. The school was founded in 1895, and it has been widely known as one of the most prestigious higher institution in topic of economics and political sciences.

The LSE is proud to offer Undergraduate Support Scheme to international students who are interested in studying in all subjects offered by the LSE.

Requirements
To be considered for the scholarship, you must:
  • Hold unconditional or conditional offers for undergraduate programme for 2020 entry.
  • Demonstrate an excellent previous academic track record
The LSE Undergraduate Support Scheme (USS) is designed to help overseas students who do not have the necessary funds to meet all their costs of study. Please note that the LSE receives far more applications for financial assistance than it can support and unfortunately not all applications to the Undergraduate Support Scheme will be successful.

Awards/ Grants
For 2020, the School has set aside approximately £1,000,000 in entrance awards to self-financing students of all nationalities. The amount of assistance will vary according to individual financial needs but awards are usually between £6,000 to £15,000. Fortunately, the awards are renewable for each year of your programme.

Application Process
Once you have received an offer of admission (conditional or unconditional), you can apply for this scholarship. Please complete the undergraduate scholarship application form. By completing this form, you will ensure that you receive consideration for this and any other LSE scholarship(s) which you meet the eligibility criteria for.

The deadline for the receipt of application is 27 April 2020. Please return your application form with all supporting documents including an academic reference to the Financial Support Office by POST.
