About the Scholarship/ and University
Tennessee Technological University or famously known as Tennessee Tech is a public university in Cookeville, Tennessee. It was formerly known as Tennessee Polytechnic Institute and it places special emphasis on undergraduate education in fields related to engineering and technology, although degrees in education, liberal arts, agriculture, nursing and other fields of study can be pursued as well.
Affiliated with the Tennessee Board of Regents, the University scholarships and grants are awarded to students based upon their academic performance, community service, residency, financial need, leadership experience, and other criteria as defined by the requirements of each award.
RequirementsTo be eligible for the scholarships, all students MUST be admitted and complete the Scholarship application. The scholarship application is done online. All supplementary materials must be received and processed by January 15, 2020 to be fully considered. Supplementary materials include:

Application ProcessThe scholarship application for the 2020-2021 academic year will open on August 1, 2019, and the deadline to apply is December 15, 2019 for new freshmen and current students or May 1, 2020 for new transfer students. Firstly, you must complete the University’s scholarship application, new students must be admitted to Tennessee Tech. The admission application for Fall 2020 opens on August 1, 2019. Next, Tennessee Tech’s scholarship application must be completed each year. Lastly, note that the renewable departmental scholarships require an application each year in order to be renewed.
