Danish Government Scholarships for Full-Degree Graduate Students

About the Scholarship/ and University
The University of Southern Denmark is a university in Denmark that has campuses located in Southern Denmark and on Zealand. The university offers a number of joint programmes in cooperation with the University of Flensburg and University of Kiel in establishing strong international scientific communities.

The University of Southern Denmark offers the Danish Government Scholarship – supported by the Ministry of Higher Education and Science – to certain applicants in recognition of the important investments that overseas students make during their education. The scholarships consist of two parts: full tuition fee waiver and a grant, to help cover living costs amounting to DKK 6090 per month before taxes.

Requirements
  1. The international candidates that are eligible to apply the scholarships are international students from a non-EU/EEA country applying for one of the following Engineering Master’s programme in Sonderborg. The programmes are MSc in Mechatronics and MSc in Electronics, and both of these program are started in autumn.
  2. The scholarships will be awarded to the best qualified of the eligible applicants. All eligible applicants who are offered a study place, will automatically be considered for the scholarships. No separate application is needed. The selection criteria are based on the best-qualified candidates who have the highest points.
  3. The admission requirements include the admission and supporting documents as well as English Language Proficiency such as IELTS score of minimum for 6.5.

The successful candidates are awarded with full tuition fee waiver and a grant, to help cover living costs amounting to DKK 6090 per month before taxes.

Application Process
To apply the scholarships, you need to take admission in the University. All eligible applicants who are offered study place will be automatically considered for the opportunity.
