The number of fellowships are 10. All ten postdoctoral researcher contracts at EHESS for a period of one year, possibly renewable, in the various fields of human and social sciences are available. An institution dedicated to developing all forms of intelligence of human reality. At EHESS, the School of Higher Studies in Social Sciences has been recognized globally as real incubator of social sciences in the world. For over 70 years, the studies and practices of history, sociology and anthropology has been becoming the place of permanent renewal. The institution contributes to among other things such as the intersection of cognitive science and philosophy subject, poetry and mathematics; with successful economic tradition.
Scholarship’s programme levels: The fellowships are open for students who want to pursue post-doctoral research
Scholarship’s study subjects: Fellowships are available to pursue Postdoctoral programme in social sciences and humanities for projects related to the research themes of the EHESS laboratories in Paris, Lyon, Marseilles, Toulouse.

Scholarship’s requirements:
- Eligible countries: International students are eligible to apply for this scholarship
- Entrance requirements: To be eligible for this scholarship you must meet the following requirements: (1) Candidates must have ended their PhD between 1 January 2015 and 31 January 2018, outside EHESS (in France or abroad); (2) Candidates must not have any other EHESS contract.
- English Language Requirements: Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University
- How to Apply: Deadline is Friday, 2 March 2018, before noon (Paris time). Please include the following papers in pdf: (1) CV and publications; (2) D. diploma (copy); (3) D. discussion report gold PhD thesis; (4) motivation letter addressed to the President of EHESS; (5) laboratories chosen for the application; (6) research project and post-doc activity plan (5 pages max) for 1 year, related to the research program of the laboratory of the EHESS in Paris, Marseille, Toulouse, or Lyon; (7) Size of attached files is limited to 5 MB. The research project can be written in English, but a good knowledge of French is required. The selection will be available starting on 7 June 2018.
Scholarship’s deadline application: the application will be closed on 02 March 2018. The candidates are encouraged to submit the required documents before that day to prevent unexpected situation.
