PhD and Postdoctoral scholarships in Chosun University

Study in South Korea. The students and researchers around the world are invited to apply the SoC Design Lab, Department of Information and Communication Engineering, Chosun University. The scholarships that are offered by the Chosun University is a full funding program for either the PhD programs and postdoctoral programs.

The scholarship’s objective is to provide support International Students to pursue their doctoral program so they can become future leaders, future enthusiasts, creative young stars for bio-implantable sensing devices, which is now essential in the part of medical diagnosis.

Chosun University is one of the most well-recognized universities in the South Korea providing international programmes since the last few decades. The Chosun University is well-known for their innovative research, interdisciplinary curriculum and a rigorously selected cohort of young scholars from around the world.

Scholarship’s programme levels: this scholarship is available for students who want to pursue their doctoral programme and post-doctoral programmes.

Scholarship’s study subjects: These scholarships will be awarded for Analog circuit design for IT area either for PhD and Postdoctoral programmes

Scholarship’s grants: The scholarship’s award is monthly stipend during the funding time over 3,000 USD

Scholarship’s requirements:

1. Eligibility requirement: (1) for PhD programme, the applicants and his/her parents must have foreign citizenship and come under each of the following (a) Graduated or is going to graduate from master’s program in a foreign country (Dept. of Electronic Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information and Communication Engineering, and IT related Engineering); (b) must have minimum IBT 80 or IELTS 6.0; (c) must have superior CGPA. (2) For Postdoctoral programme, the applicants and his/her parents must have foreign citizenship and come under each of the following: (a) must have a PhD degree in a foreign country (Dept. of Electronic Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information and Communication Engineering, and IT related Engineering); (b) have minimum IBT 80 or IELTS 6.0; (c) have superior CGPA
2. English Language Requirements: The candidate for the scholarship must submit one of the following English exams including TOEFL iBT overall score 80; IELTS Academic score of 6.5.

Scholarship’s deadline application: the application will be closed on 31 December 2017. The candidates are encouraged to submit the required documents before that day to prevent unexpected situation.
