International IT policy program scholarship at Seoul National University in South Korea, 2018

Study in South Korea. South Korea is one of the developed countries in Asian which consists worldwide universities. South Korea is also recognized regarding the electronic technologies. Samsung is one of the famous companies which has been producing worldwide electrical devices.

To help students from international countries, the Republic of South Korea is proud to offer scholarship. The scholarship is the International IT Policy Program Scholarship and these scholarships are granted for international students who want to pursue masters and PhD programme.

The scholarships are offered to support financial aspect of researchers in field of IT with work experiences and Korean entities. The scholarships will be given for applicants in studying at Seoul National university which has been considered as one of the most prestigious universities in the South Korea and the World.

Scholarship’s programme levels: The scholarship invites student who wants to pursue master degree programme at Seoul National University

Scholarship’s study subjects: As the aim of this scholarship is to support students in pursuing master degree and PhD programme in the field of IT, therefore subjects are related to IT topic

Scholarship’s grants: The scholarship will cover the following aspects:

1. Tuition fees either for Master and PhD programme
2. One-way transportation by using aircraft which accounts up to 1,500,000 Korean Won
3. Living cost up to 1,500,000 KRW for every month with GPA per semester must be above 3.0
4. Settlement Fund: 200,000 KRW
5. Medical Insurance
6. Korean language program

Scholarship’s requirements:

1. Eligibility requirement: Because of the scholarship will be given to related IT research, therefore the following criteria must be met in order for international students in applying the scholarships. (1) The applicants must be IT related government officials or qualified researchers at National Research Centers working in the IT related fields; (2) IT related researchers with work experiences with Korean entities (Korean agencies, companies) are referred; (3) A bachelor’s degree for master applicants, and a master’s degree for PhD applicants.
2. Application requirement: Master applicant must have a bachelor degree while the PhD applicant must have master degree
3. Language Requirements: Have a minimum level of B2 according to the global scale of English if for the international applicants
4. How to apply: Applicants can apply via email and all of the required documents must be sent to email.

Scholarship’s deadline application: the application will be closed on 20 October 2017 to start a master’s degree in the next academic year, in the autumn or in the spring semester if the program allows. The candidates are encouraged to submit the required documents before that day to prevent unexpected situation.
