Requirements
Qualified students are invited to apply and participate in the competition. In order to be eligible, the student must meet the following criteria:
- Admitted as a full-time freshman student to Pitt-Greensburg by January 15 2020
- Achieved a cumulative high school GPA of 3.8 or higher (at time of application)
- Scored a minimum of 1250 on SAT – or – 26 on ACT
- Student must be a United States Citizen
- Pre-Engineering students are exempt from this competition
Pitt-Greensburg will award 3 full-tuition scholarships to freshmen students beginning their education in Fall 2020. The award will cover tuition only (in-state rate) for up to 4 years if the student meets renewal criteria of 3.5 GPA each academic year. The prestigious scholarship has a value of over $50,000

The envelope must be postmarked by 5pm January 22, 2020 at the latest for your application to receive consideration. Students will be sent a confirmation email once the application is received and found to be complete.
Finalists will be selected based on the application and essay and invited to participate in an on-campus interview event on February 1, 2020. Finalists must be physically present for the interview portion. Finalists will be notified no later than January 28, 2020. Winners will be notified by the end of February 2020.
