Bond University is Australia’s first private not-for-profit university and it is located in Queensland. The university has primarily been a teaching-focused higher education institution featuring a three-semester-per-year timetable. It also is recognized for its legal education which ranks top 3 in Australia in terms of graduate employment rate.
The Bond University is committed to providing a high level HDR experience to ensure success in student’s research and research training. The provision of appropriate financial support is an important part of the research training environment. Bond University allocates funds to support the financial costs of fee offset (waiver) and living stipends.
Requirements
In order to apply for the scholarships program, international applicants must meet the required academic entry requirements, as well as satisfy visa, residency and English proficiency requirements. Before applying the PhD Scholarship, the first 2 steps in the application process must be completed prior to lodging your scholarship application (step 3) and will take 4-6 weeks to complete. The steps are: (1) Expression of interest (EOI) to faculty; (2) Apply for admission to Bond University; (3) Apply for scholarship : Assessment of Scholarship applications frame work which include letter of offer for admission to bond university and submission of online scholarship application form.
Awards/ Grants
The PhD candidates will be awarded for the 2019 full-time stipend rate accounted for AUS$27,596.00 per annum (indexed annually). This award is available for undertaking a higher degree research program at Bond University.
