The term of obesity in the medical world is not about the additional of weight, but it is described as an accumulation of adipose tissue and it grows into multilayer of tissues. Even though, the function of adipose tissue is to store the triglycerides which is a fat for certain periods and when it is needed, the body automatically release the triglycerides for example during the cold weather. However, this reserve bank of energy has received more fat and it overcomes the intake.
The issue is how the tissue can deposit so much fat into multilayer. Many study had been conducted and found that the fat organ is clearly happened either in prenatal and postnatal. Interestingly, the formation of this tissue is vary among species. For instance, in human the first pre-adipose tissue is detected in 14 to 16 weeks of prenatal life. And it is followed by the second tissue which is formed three months before the baby human born. This differentiation of forming is suspected to become the cause of the increasing of adipose tissue’s layer and it leads to dissemination of lipid deposits in many areas of connective tissue. Therefore, the area which the tissues are connected becomes the area which is capable to grow.
So, it looks like the joint tissue between the first and the second adipose tissue formed in the prenatal and postnatal is partitioned into several rooms and it can store lipids in huge amount. And the connective tissue which can store the lipid is from septa into lobules. Unfortunately, the figure of fat lobules stays constant and the size can increase continuously. By understanding this growth, we are able to predict in which age that a person starts increasing his/ her weight and it becomes a turning point for obesity. Based on the microscopic study conducted by several scientists suggested the early fat development happens on the second of trimester inside the mother’s body and this stage is begun at the first trimester.
The growth of adipose tissue actually increases based on the sex and age. Most people grow their fat tissues around 9 to 13 years of age. During this period is crucial for many children to eat and as the tissue is a regenerative organ and it can adapt the changes outside the body such as temperature and nutrient availability, parents must regulate their consumption in addition to prevent the later obesity. The overweight is considered as become the main causing of heart attack, diabetes, kidney issues and many lethal diseases.
In conclusion, our body is actually can store the lipid throughout the adipose tissue. And it regenerates in accordance of temperature and nutrients availability. Regulating the consumption in younger age can prevent the overweight.
