Scholarships at Charles Darwin University
As part of the Northern Territory of Australia, choosing to study in Darwin's tropical climate by the sea or in Alice Springs surrounded by beautiful red desert landscapes is one of the most interesting part about Australia. The Study in Australia's Northern Territory Scholarships are provided by the Northern Territory (NT) Government and education providers to talented international students to study in Australia's Northern Territory.
The Charles Darwin University (CDU) is an Australian public university with a main campus in Darwin an eight satellite campuses in some metropolitan and regional areas. It was established in 2003 after the merger of Northern Territory University, the Menzies School of Health Research, and Centralian College. Ever since the establishment, the CDU is a member of the group of seven Innovative Research Universities in Australia.
Scholarships Eligibility
To be considered as the applicants, students must:
- have applied and obtained an offer of admission to study in one of the programmes in CDU
- have a demonstrated record of academic excellence, community engagement and leadership
- meet the training providers' academic and English entry criteria
- be planning to move to the NT from interstate or overseas
- not already be studying in the NT, or with a NT education provider
- not hold any other scholarship
- not hold current Australian citizenship, Australian permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizenship
Scholarships Awards
The scholarships are valued in two different categories:
- For those who apply for the higher education would get $AUS12,000, and
- For those who apply for the vocational education and training would $AUS7,500

The applications for both the scholarships and admission are done by online application system. Therefore, it is wisely advised to follow this University's Admission Link. The applications must be submitted no later than the dates below:
- Higher education scholarships

- onshore applications: 07 August 2022
- Vocational education and training scholarships
- offshore applications: 26 June 2022
- onshore applications: 03 July 2022
