A scholarship of 30% off the Global MBA fee will be available for students in emerging markets that are, or have the potential to become, entrepreneurs. 150 scholarships are available, and 100 will be for web-supported learners, while 50 for those at recognised Teaching Centres
RequirementsApplications need to meet the following: (1) You must first apply and have been given an offer for the Global MBA before your application will be considered; (2) You must reside in a Band A country; (3) You cannot apply for the scholarship or be awarded the scholarship if you have already registered on the Global MBA programme; (4) Submit a 500-word application related to how obtaining a Global MBA will assist in your future endeavours and assist a country within an ‘emerging market’; (5) You cannot apply for the scholarship or be awarded the scholarship if you have already registered on the Global MBA programme
Awards/ GrantsThere will be 150 scholarships allocated on a rolling basis. Students studying via the web-supported option or through a Teaching Centre will be able to apply. The 30% scholarship will not cover module continuation fees, examination centre costs or any other costs not directly payable to us (such as the purchase of additional materials or electronic equipment).
Application ProcessThe Scholarship is available for the April 2019, July 2019, October 2019, and January 2020 Intakes. For period October 2019, the deadline application for the scholarship is on 09 September 2019. To Apply the scholarship, please:
(1) Complete the scholarship application form (including two written statements, max. 500 words, outlining how obtaining a Global MBA will assist in your future endeavours and assist a country within an emerging market; (2) Submit an application for the Global MBA. At the Scholarships and Bursaries section, select the correct scholarship from the menu and attach/ upload your completed scholarship form. If you apply for the scholarship, please await the outcome of your scholarship application before completing registration; (3) If you wish to apply for the scholarship after you have submitted your application for the programme (but you have not registered), you can do so via our online enquiry system by uploading your completed scholarship application.
